There is nothing like going on a HOT date with one of the cities finest women. Better yet, when given the opportunity, take her to one of the finest restaurants in town. Fine people deserve fine things. I have a thing for beautiful women, wine, seafood, and of course a nice story. For this adventure, we visit Brendon’s Catch 23. 🦞

Story time… because we call love a good story, right? Brendans Catch 23 was inspired by a chef named Brendan… of course. Brendan created a menu that was a culinary masterpiece of gourmet seafood of only the freshest essence. Despite his years of work, his life ended prematurely in a car wreck. As sad as this may be, trust me the story gets better so keep reading… Well, his legacy was preserved by his friends and family. His father owns the embassy suites adjacent to the restaurant. Upon his sons death, his father extended the hotel out to restaurant expansion where his friends banded together to bring Brendon’s dream to reality. The restaurant is employeed by his closest friends from the kitchen to the waiters. Top tier hospitality, top tier bar, and a menu that is unbelievable with seafood that is flown in daily from the ocean in less than 24 hours. Now that’s fresh!

If the diverse menu, which includes classic and unique inspired side dishes and appetizers such as Alaskan King Crab, Jumbo Lobsters, freshly-shucked Oysters don’t fit your fancy they also serve hand-cut prime steaks that impress equally, from a 10-ounce prime to a 32-ounce prime tomahawk ribeye, along with New Zealand racks of lamb, Low country offerings, gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and handheld options.

Wait!!! There’s more… Brendon’s bar program is exemplary, with more than 100 of Kentucky’s finest bourbons, consisting of the rarest and allocated offerings, including an assortment of Brendon’s own personalized blended Bourbons that are available by the glass or by the bottle. There are also many hand-crafted, one of a kind cocktails that amaze along with the in-house sommelier-driven wine list. If this doesn’t wow your date, then they either have horrible taste, or they don’t like you.. jk 😜. Only the highest of rating are being given by the Hedonist for this this hidden gem.
